What is this about?
In today’s environment, being a generalist UX Designer isn’t enough. You need to build your skill stack to stay competitive and navigate a future filled with uncertainty.
Most people, when faced with this, go one of two routes:
They learn to become a Design (or Product) Manager
They polish their visual skills to become a high-level Designer
However, I’ve found a third, more approachable path for many Designers that isn’t as scary as many think: working with Data.
Data is everywhere nowadays, and the biggest problem with information today isn’t scarcity: it’s trying to understand it. Data Professionals can work with data, but they don’t understand how to communicate with it.
