Crypto Village is a team that champions "Empower The Locals," connecting technology with regions to support diverse communities and cultures. We are challenging ourselves to create new communities using blockchain technology to connect local resources vital for our lives—like water, air, and materials—along with culture rooted in festivals and daily life, and face-to-face relationships and trust, into the future.
Where is Yamakoshi?
Yamakoshi is a small village located in the mid-mountainous region of Niigata Prefecture, which became part of Nagaoka City after municipal mergers. It is a heavy snowfall area, with accumulations reaching 3 meters in winter, and a region that has coexisted with a rugged terrain and severe natural environment with almost no flat areas.
