About Cortney Gensemer, PhD
For those who found themselves here and don’t know what Cort Does Science is all about—my name is Cortney Gensemer (AKA Dr. Gensemer, Cortney, Cort, Dr. G). I’m a research scientist studying the Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS) and related comorbidities such as MCAS and POTS. I also happen to live with these conditions myself. Between my personal experience and professional expertise, I’ve found that I can fill a gap in the patient community by providing accessible, evidence-based resources and updates for anyone who wants to better understand their body and the research landscape, while also sharing a little bit about how I navigate it all myself.
