Just like how Numismatics is the study of old coins, you should consider this blog to be a collection of ongoing case studies for trying to locate alpha in overlooked parts of the market where valuations look cheap but businesses are still high quality.
Our process considers striking a balance between business quality and price. Our favorite investments are high quality businesses that are at highly attractive prices. For example, we still contend Vontier (VNT) is a high quality business and when the stock was <$20 per share, it was a highly attractive price.
