What’s with the name?
Containers straining under building pressure, release it in either a controlled or uncontrolled manner. Uncontrolled release, aka explosions, are not ideal. Containers expected to routinely hold pressurized contents, are designed with a vent to atmosphere for just such an emergency. I have a lot of opinions. Oftentimes enough to make my mind a straining container.
