Hi! I’m Samin — author of Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, host of a Netflix documentary series based on the book, occasional podcaster, and former New York Times Magazine food columnist. My second book, Good Things, will be published this fall!

To be honest, I'm not quite sure what this space will grow up to be just yet. For now, I want to invite you to join me in sharing fun (and often funny) food stories, alongside some updates about my life behind the scenes (including lots of Fava 🐶). I hope you’ll come to think of this space as yours just as much as it is mine.
