About Child + Line
Hi, nice to meet you. I write and illustrate children’s books and write for film and television.
With education and literacy threatened at every turn and more and more book bans, this newsletter is going to do whatever small good it can in this tiny little space to promote literacy and children's picture books, an under-appreciated form.
These days, this is a political stance. Children are better off when their world expands through imagination, hope, and connection. The world is better off when children have access to healthcare, education, food, a clean environment—all things that fulfill basic needs—and books and art are a part of that.
