My formal bio would read something like, “Cara Harbstreet is a Kansas City-based registered dietitian and the owner of Street Smart Nutrition. ”
And it’s true. I am. And my tagline has been “fearlessly nourishing meals” since the start of it all.
Well, actually…the start of the 1099-life as a self-employed media dietitian, content creator, author, consultant, etc. Because in the very beginning, I was just a new grad up to my eyeballs in student loans from completing an unpaid internship while going to grad school so I could put the letters “MS, RD, LD” behind my name.
