Communication Breakdown is written by Chris Cannon, a Vancouver-based journalist whose work has appeared in Rolling Stone, the New Republic, the New York Times, and others. Chris served as an intelligence specialist in the US Marine Corps, spent two years posted at the White House, and studied the linguistics of American subcultures at Columbia and UChicago. He has authored five books, including the political satire America, But Better.
