About Clare Foster
I am the Garden Editor of House & Garden Magazine, UK, and prior to this was Editor of Gardens Illustrated. I am so lucky to be immersed in a world that I love, visiting gardens, meeting nursery owners, garden designers and garden owners, all of whom are united in their love of creating gardens.
I’m also a passionate gardener myself, with a third of an acre cottage garden in the south of England where I have a gravel garden, a kitchen garden, herbaceous borders, two dogs and three chickens.
Gardeners are the most lovely bunch of people, happy to share knowledge, skills and ideas. This platform aims to foster a community where we can share views on everything from favourite dahlias to ways we can collectively make a difference to the climate crisis.
