I’m Ben. I write about philosophy, technology, and big ideas.
I’m currently the founder & CEO of Lightning Rod Labs, where we’re training AI to predict the future.
Previously I founded Kazm Talk, a video conversation platform for meaningful group discourse, acquired by Harvard University and relaunched as Frankly. As part of Google’s Area120 I founded Rivet, an AI-powered reading app for kids.
Before that I was a software engineer working on applied machine learning at Google, and studied Scientific Computing @ NYU.
