I’m Victoria K. Walker, a historian and writer working towards a PhD thesis and non-fiction manuscript on early twentieth-century art and literature - with a particular interest in the Bloomsbury Group and their contemporaries. Before pursuing doctoral and professional research, I achieved an undergraduate honours degree and postgraduate degrees studying Art History, Film History, Literature and Journalism.
While I launched Beyond Bloomsbury in recognition of the artists and writers I explore in my research, I also want to celebrate the artists and writers who lived and worked before.
