About Alisyn
I’m a veteran journalist in the middle of her toughest life assignment: trying to rebuild and reinvent my life from the ruins of loss and grief. In 2025, I left my traditional broadcast news career months after losing my amazing husband to cancer. This space offers a backstage pass to this often messy and painful reinvention process. I know I’m not alone, and my hope is that this community can support each other on our various rebuilding, reinventing, and reimagining projects.
One venture I’ve launched this year is my video podcast on YouTube called Sanity where we try to make sense of this maddening news cycle — and the stories behind the headlines. I host it with my former FOX+Friends cohost Dave Briggs and we interview all sorts of newsmakers and thought-leaders who can lend some sanity.
