My memoir, Don’t Call Me Home (Viking), was published in 2023. It’s about growing up in the Chelsea Hotel (NYC of the 70’s & 80’s) in a small apartment with a high maintenance mother (Viva, ex-Warhol Superstar).
Sometimes I’m an actor…speaking of a high maintenance mother, I was a recurring character on HBO’s High Maintenance (Gloria—the crazy yoga teacher who tried to break a dance marathon record but instead ends up peeing herself, dehydrated, and crazed).
It’s true, for most of my life I was a yoga teacher, but I’m trying to forget about that.
